Syndication registration (pilot phase)

Directgov syndication web services enable you to make Directgov news, articles and government contacts available through your own website, intranet, widget or application. To use the syndication feeds we're asking people to register their email address with us so we can alert you to new features or fast changing content (e.g emergency updates).

After signing up, we'll give you details of everything you need to start using the syndication web service.

Please note, by registering and using the syndication feeds you agree to the Terms of Use Policy outlined below.

Terms of Use Policy

By using the Directgov syndication feeds you are agreeing to the data usage terms and conditions and code of conduct outlined on the Government's data.gov.uk website for use of information and data. (These include reference to Crown Copyright).

In addition, data users must:

Accredit the syndication feed to Directgov and link to the Directgov website (the original information source)
If mashing the Directgov content with other non-Crown Copyright material, clearly state that which is official Crown Copyright material and that which is from other sources
Agree to not directly or indirectly suggest any endorsement or approval of you or any service you create by Directgov (or its Government partners) or suggest endorsement of any views expressed within your site or service
As this is a pilot Directgov | Innovate can provide no guarantees on the reliability of the syndication web service

If data users wish to reference the original article, use the 'original' link at the top of the syndicated article page.
